Great idea. Used to be that the only "guerilla gardeners" I heard of were the ones growing contraband on public property and in vacant lots. Now they've moved from pot to potatoes. That's progress!
The biggest problem in Houston has been keeping the city from mowing down the newly planted gardens on public property, but gradually people are accepting the concept that vegetables aren't just good for the body, they're good for the eyes as well. I've seen people growing cucumber vines amongst their roses in front yards. Beautiful!
