Thanks to Bennie and Patsy we are enjoying fresh vegetables. You all are very kind and generous. It's been a long time since we shelled peas, but it came back to us in no time at all. I guess it's like riding a bicycle; once you learn, you never forget.
I think I will do a hat blog next.

Do you have some little okra to steam on top of the peas as they are cooking? That was always my favorite! And I hope you are serving cornbread along side the peas. (Don't tell anyone, but, mayonnaise goes great on the cornbread.)

Yes, we will have okra and cornbread, but Mayonnaie is something I've never tried, but it sounds good
