Rice University Art Gallery

This past May we had an opportunity to visit the  Rice University Art Gallery, which was our first.

Our son, Nash does some photographic work for the Gallery and we were able to meet some of the staff and view and up coming event.

I won't attempt to explain this exhibit, but it's an outstanding display by an artist named Mark Fox.
For the complete story Click Here.  View the video, it's amazing.

Well that adds a whole new perspective to my "stuff". I thought I had a lot and was bad at decluttering but Mark takes it to a whole new dimension.

I certainly never thought of my stuff owning and manipulating me! Thanks for this Frank, certainly food for thought here.

And this is higher education. I have lots of dust and things that own me. Very interesting.

Andy likes to use the word "stuffacating" for all the stuff that we accumulate. We just try to get rid of it, which could be an art in itself.
Check out the latest installation at the Rice Gallery and be sure and watch the video.

Very interesting post (don't tell Patsy) ha...I have been cleaning out my closets and it is amazing how much I have hung on to that might do some one some good. So have taken stuff to Fanny Ruth...now she is a real treasure for the village...always working in that building regardless of the weather.
